In an industry driven by innovation, transformation and net zero goals, celebrating ground-breaking ideas and visionary individuals is essential to advancing our global sustainability goals.

The Property Awards is a powerful platform to recognise and honour the exceptional achievements of companies and individuals within the UK property industry.

Since its launch in the mid-1990s, the event, founded by the influential magazine – Property Week, has spotlighted companies and individuals who have effectively leveraged property and technology to bring new developments, improve service delivery and create value for investors, tenants and the wider community.

This year, on the 13th of June, the ceremony saw close to a thousand people gather under the giant chandeliers of the historic Grosvenor House in London to celebrate the pioneers of the real estate industry.

Blueprints for Our Built World

Each year, the organisers bring together a panel of experts who participate in an unbiased and thorough process to evaluate entries across various categories, including Commercial Property, Residential Development, and PropTech.

The Commercial Property Awards spotlight advancements in new construction, renovation initiatives, and successful real estate transactions that have effectively maximised investment value, enhanced tenant experiences, and showcased exceptional design aesthetics.

Likewise, the residential development category celebrates cutting-edge residential projects, spanning from student accommodation to affordable housing.

Some esteemed past winners include industry giants like Blackstone Inc. and Bruntwood SciTech, a specialised property provider leading the growth in the science and technology sectors.

This year, the judging panel featured industry heavyweights such as Anouk Khan of Cambridge Finance, Carl Whayman of Lee Baron, Jane Sartin of the Flexible Space Association, The Good Economy’s Vivienne King, and many more esteemed individuals!1

Ecolibrium at the Awards

We were immensely proud to have been shortlisted under 2 categories: Climate Crisis Initiative and Newcomer Award.

The Climate Crisis Initiative award, introduced in 2021, recognises the exceptional efforts made within the sector to address the climate crisis and strengthen environmental credentials.

Our nomination in this category served as validation of our firm commitment to creating impactful solutions through our cutting-edge digital platform-SmartSense™, designed to help various organisations around the globe curb their emissions, increase efficiency and monitor ESG metrics.

The second nomination for the Newcomer Award further solidified our growing presence and reputation within the market, marking a significant milestone for our company.

In addition to our nominations, we took great pride in sponsoring the PropTech Innovator of the Year award, an accolade that celebrates game-changers who, much like us, use technology to achieve sustainable prosperity - a goal that benefits people, the planet and profit.

Community and Competition

The relevance of the Property Awards goes far beyond celebrating the remarkable achievements of industry professionals. As experienced first-hand by our delegates Klaudia Bacinska - VP of Branding and Marketing, and Graeme Hamilton - Group Account Director, this exquisite event provides a platform for networking and building impactful partnerships with like-minded individuals and fosters collaboration and healthy competition to ignite innovation within the sector.

That’s why we couldn’t be more thrilled to have been part of such an inspirational event. A huge congratulations to all the winners from all of us at Ecolibrium!
